The Hawks are delighted to announce the appointment of well-travelled Scotsman, Colin Siller as Head Coach of the Club for Season 2023/24.

Colin is an ECB Level 3 Coach who for the last 30 years has coached at every level from School, Youth, Youth International, Club, First-Class level (Zimbabwe) and ICC Associate level including being the Assistant Coach of Canada and National Coach for 4 countries (Fiji, Austria, Sweden, and Rwanda) and High Performance Manager of one (Fiji).

A former Hawks player, he is looking to renew old acquaintances, as he returns to Melbourne where he lived back in the 1990’s.

Colin is passionate about his cricket and will offer a whole new dimension to the Hawks group, bringing a wealth of experience from his global coaching experiences.

He will also adds a ton of experience to the bowling group after many successful roles focusing on seam and spin bowling

Colin will take over the reigns when he arrives in late July/early August and is excited to take on his new opportunity. He will be ably supported by Assistant Coach Al Manning, and Sam Evans as Batting Coach.
